The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all office operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and providing support to our legal team. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of the legal industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in legal document review, billing, and hours reporting.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Legal Office Manager, your key duties will include:
1. Overseeing daily operations of the legal office, ensuring a high level of efficiency and productivity.
2. Managing the review, preparation, and filing of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures and standards.
3. Coordinating billing activities, including invoice generation, payment processing, and financial record maintenance.
4. Managing hours reporting for all staff, ensuring accurate and timely submission of reports.
5. Developing and implementing office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
6. Coordinating with legal staff to ensure all court schedules, appointments, and deadlines are met.
7. Providing administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence handling.
8. Conducting performance reviews and managing staff training and development initiatives.
9. Maintaining office supplies inventory and managing vendor relationships.
10. Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and keeping up-to-date with changes in the legal industry.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Legal Office Manager position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal office management role.
2. Proven experience in legal document review, billing, and hours reporting.
3. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminologies, and document formats.
5. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
