Job Details

A well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Office Manager to lead daily operations and provide direct legal support in a dynamic office environment. This hybrid role blends leadership with hands-on legal administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Supervise and coordinate non-attorney staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, and team development.
  • Provide direct legal secretarial support to 1–2 attorneys, including drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents.
  • Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Ensure timely administrative support and resource coordination across the office.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the office’s Notary Public and manage general administrative tasks (supplies, mail, etc.).

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of office management experience, ideally in a legal or professional services setting.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in estate planning or litigation.
  • Must obtain a valid California Notary Public certification.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal document management systems (iManage preferred).
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
