Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to managing partners, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence including letters, memos, court papers, and reports.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on findings.
  • Review and manage contracts to ensure legal compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Manage email correspondence, ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports.
  • Coordinate and manage document filing system, ensuring all legal documents are accurately maintained and updated.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for meetings.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
  • Use critical thinking and decision-making skills to solve problems and improve office procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary.
  • At least 2 years of litigation experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven experience in email and document management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills and a good understanding of legal terminologies and procedures.
  • Proven experience in preparing legal documents and managing contracts.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Proven experience in preparing and managing expense reports.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail in proofreading.
  • A strong understanding of legal administration and compliance.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
