Qualifications

Experience

3–5 years of consumer lending experience, with a strong emphasis on indirect auto lending.
Experience underwriting and funding indirect loans preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Key Responsibilities
Review, underwrite, process, and fund indirect auto loan applications received through dealership partners.
Analyze credit applications and supporting documentation to make sound lending decisions in accordance with established underwriting guidelines.
Communicate loan decisions promptly to dealers and other appropriate parties.
Maintain regular communication with dealership partners regarding loan applications and cultivate strong, professional relationships.
Respond to inquiries from dealers, borrowers, and internal team members regarding the status and details of indirect loan transactions.
Produce high-quality loan portfolios by balancing sound credit decisions with business growth objectives.
Prepare and distribute adverse action notices for declined loan applications in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency and recommend process enhancements.
Participate in ongoing training to maintain compliance with company policies, lending regulations, and industry best practices.
Monitor dealer activity and communicate market trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to management.
Maintain accurate loan documentation and ensure all files meet compliance and funding requirements.
Work a flexible schedule as business needs require, including occasional evenings and Saturdays.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of indirect auto lending practices and consumer lending regulations.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency with lending systems and Microsoft Office applications.
