Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records, including therapy notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Adhere to all professional standards and legal requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in the field of mental health and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.
- Conduct crisis intervention as necessary, and provide referrals to other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health services.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting clinical assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records and other computer systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal requirements related to mental health practice.
- Ability to respond effectively to crises and manage stressful situations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Must have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to improving patient mental and emotional well-being.
