We are seeking a junior Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to provide high-level legal support in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of civil litigation, including but not limited to, case analysis, pre-trial discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. The candidate will work closely with our team of attorneys to develop legal strategies and facilitate the resolution of legal disputes. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and managing trials.
2. Collaborate with other attorneys to develop legal strategies and facilitate the resolution of legal disputes.
3. Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
4. Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
5. Represent clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
6. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to resolve cases early.
7. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions.
8. Stay updated on current legislation and legal changes that might affect the firm's clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar of Texas
4. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal issues.
7. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
