We are currently seeking a Litigation Associate to join our oil & gas practice group.
This is a permanent position that offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes litigation cases within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector, particularly in issues related to landowners, royalty owners, leases, surface use agreements, title issues, and title deficiencies.

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in oil and gas litigation matters, including disputes involving landowners, royalty owners, leases, surface use agreements, title issues, and title deficiencies.
- Conduct thorough and detailed research to identify legal issues, potential risks, and strategies for dispute resolution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including leases, surface use agreements, and settlement agreements.
- Advise clients on the legal implications of their business decisions and strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in all phases of litigation, from initiation to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial, and appeal.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and relevant updates on their cases.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
- 2-5 years of experience in oil and gas litigation, with a focus on representing landowners and royalty owners
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and other stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards, with a commitment to client confidentiality.
