Job Details:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both civil and criminal defense litigation. This role requires someone with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a well-rounded understanding of the legal industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse case load, developing case strategies, and representing clients in court. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal briefs, and settlement agreements.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
5. Consult with clients to provide legal advice and understand their objectives.
6. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes favorably and efficiently.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes in the law that may impact clients.
8. Ensure all legal and ethical standards are upheld in all interactions and proceedings.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on civil litigation and criminal defense.
3. Active member in good standing with the state bar.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse case load.
5. Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High degree of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality requirements.
11. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
12. Passion for providing superior legal representation to all clients.
