Litigation Attorney - Book of Business

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a diverse range of litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in areas of civil, construction, commercial, and corporate litigation. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, and the candidate must be a member of the Georgia State Bar.

1. Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution.
2. Representing our firm and clients in civil, construction, commercial, and corporate litigation cases.
3. Developing case strategies in cooperation with the team and clients, and ensuring the effective execution of these strategies.
4. Conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and to stay informed about changes in laws and regulations.
5. Engaging in settlement negotiations and mediations to resolve disputes in the best interest of our clients.
6. Providing legal advice to clients, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for specific cases.
7. Maintaining clear and accurate case documentation, correspondence, and client files.
8. Participating in business development activities, including networking and client relationship management.

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil, construction, commercial, and corporate litigation.
3. Membership in the Georgia State Bar.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and team members.
6. Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
7. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
