We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of catastrophic injury, construction, insurance, bad faith, courtroom, depositions, trial, and toxic torts matters. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take their career to the next level and work on high-stakes, complex litigation cases. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience handling these types of cases and be ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of catastrophic injury, construction, insurance, bad faith, courtroom, depositions, trial, and toxic torts cases.
2. Represent clients in a wide range of litigation matters.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
5. Actively participate in all aspects of litigation, including depositions, pre-trial, trial, and appellate work.
6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
7. Maintain client relationships and communicate effectively with clients on case progress and legal issues.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney with a focus on catastrophic injury, construction, insurance, bad faith, courtroom, depositions, trial, and toxic torts.
4. Proven track record of success in and out of the courtroom.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
