We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a litigation docket and engage in motion practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, a proven track record of managing complex litigation dockets, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal counsel.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a broad and diverse litigation docket, including but not limited to civil and business litigation matters.
2. Draft, review, and argue motions in court, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and pretrial motions.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues related to litigation.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
5. Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
6. Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the client.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
8. Stay updated on current laws, court decisions, and industry trends that may affect the client's case.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on civil litigation.
4. Proficiency in motion practice and managing litigation dockets.
5. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
