Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conducting discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Managing all aspects of case management, including meeting deadlines, communicating case progress to clients, and coordinating with other team members.
  • Representing clients in court and arguing motions.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis.
  • Advising clients on their legal rights and responsibilities.
  • Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
  • Complying with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a strong background in civil litigation.
  • License to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in appellate law, bankruptcy, business law, ERISA, executive compensation, estate planning, family law, insurance, intellectual property law, labor and employment law, probate, real estate, securities, tax, trust and estate litigation, and wealth management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects concurrently, delivering results efficiently.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
