Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Employment Law Attorney with at least 5 years of experience to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising employers and/or employees on workplace matters, handling litigation, and providing proactive legal counsel on compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and retaliation claims.
Provide legal counsel on workplace policies, employee handbooks, compliance with federal and state employment laws, and risk management strategies.
Handle administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC, NLRB, and state labor boards.
Draft and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants.
Conduct workplace investigations and provide training on employment law matters.
Stay up to date on employment law developments and provide strategic guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
Minimum 5 years of experience practicing employment law.
Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience representing clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings preferred.
