We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. This exciting role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in bankruptcy, foreclosure, litigation, and default. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters and contribute significantly to our firm's success. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be tasked with handling a multitude of responsibilities that are pivotal to our firm's operations. These include:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation, and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
2. Conducting research and analysis of legal problems, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
3. Managing all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
4. Dealing with bankruptcy and foreclosure cases, handling all relevant procedures and documentation.
5. Developing strategies to manage and resolve cases quickly and efficiently, while keeping clients informed of progress and legal developments.
6. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in default, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
7. Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop defense strategies, while also mentoring less experienced team members.
8. Staying updated on industry trends and legal changes to offer up-to-date advice to clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position of Permanent Litigation Attorney should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and 3+ years of experience in the legal industry.
3. Proven experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on bankruptcy, foreclosure, and default.
4. Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlements.
5. Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
7. Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
8. An unwavering commitment to ethical practices and professional standards.
9. Ability to work independently, manage large caseloads, and prioritize tasks effectively.
