Our client is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Litigation Defense Attorney to join our thriving legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, providing legal advice and representation to our clients. The successful candidate will have experience in insurance defense and must be proficient in all aspects of the litigation process. This position will be instrumental in managing cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and representation in court.

- Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal issues related to insurance defense.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations to maintain ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload and achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in using legal software and technologies for case management and legal research.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
