Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney with a strong background in personal injury and trial practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in courtrooms, a passion for justice, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards. Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of personal injury and other litigation cases from inception through resolution.
2. Conduct thorough case investigations to determine potential legal claims and identify responsible parties.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and settlement agreements.
4. Advocate for clients' rights and best interests in court, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
5. Develop and present compelling arguments and evidence at trial to achieve favorable verdicts and settlements.
6. Collaborate with legal team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
7. Stay current on legal trends and developments to provide effective representation and strategic advice.
8. Uphold and promote the firm's values of integrity, professionalism, and client service.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial practice.
4. Demonstrated success in litigating cases to verdict or achieving favorable settlements.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
6. Proficient in using legal research platforms and case management software.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
8. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
9. Ability to manage a high caseload and to work effectively under pressure.
10. Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and to providing outstanding client service.
