Our prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a professional who has a passion for litigation and a solid understanding of labor and employment law. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of complex litigation matters, conducting depositions, and providing exceptional legal advice to our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all phases of litigation from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
2. Conducting depositions and participating in arbitration hearings and mediations.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and filing them with the court.
4. Performing extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of case.
5. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
6. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to develop case theories, strategies, and plans.
7. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes favorably and cost-effectively.
8. Keeping abreast of current legislation and judicial decisions relevant to labor and employment law.
9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on labor and employment law.
4. Proven experience conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
5. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
6. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
