Are you a seasoned Litigation Attorney looking for a new challenge? We are a dynamic and established law firm seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling a variety of legal cases, particularly in personal injury, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution. You will be part of a team that is committed to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients, while maintaining the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities include:
1. Representing clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
2. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal materials.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Managing all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
5. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, and suggesting courses of action in business and personal matters.
6. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in litigation.
3. Proven experience in personal injury, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution.
4. Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
