Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Representing the company in a variety of complex commercial property litigation matters, both independently and as part of a team.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of legal documents related to commercial property, trucking, and medical malpractice.
3. Conducting thorough and timely legal research and analysis to support business objectives.
4. Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
5. Preparing for and conducting depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
6. Providing legal advice and counsel to internal departments on a wide range of legal issues related to commercial property.
7. Coordinating with outside counsel as needed and managing legal expenses.
8. Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, legal trends, and industry developments.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, specifically in commercial property law, trucking, or medical malpractice law.
4. Proven track record of managing all aspects of complex litigation from inception through resolution.
5. Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
