Litigation Attorney

We are a national firm that has been in business for nearly 15 years. We are on the lookout for an experienced, Georgia-based Lawyer with 5+ years of litigation experience!

This Attorney will be responsible for handling litigation matters for the Firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the litigation process on behalf of our clients.

• Attend mediations, trials, and hearings, and other duties as assigned
• Perform legal research and writing
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters
• Travel on an as needed basis
• Write articles and make presentations to clients, trade associations, and ICLE
• Participate in marketing initiatives

Required Skills, Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Member of the Georgia Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
• Alabama Bar Member is a plus
• Litigation experience in GA preferred
• At least five years litigation experience, foreclosure experience a plus
• Title experience is preferred
• Must be well-versed in the rules of evidence, introducing evidence, and civil procedure in both state and federal court
• Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw
