We are seeking an exceptional Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload, conducting depositions, and providing expert legal advice to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, develop legal strategies, and represent clients in court. Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee your own caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
2. Conduct thorough and detailed depositions to gather necessary information.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and achieve client objectives.
6. Conduct legal research and analysis to keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with legal team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to case management.
8. Provide expert legal advice to clients, clearly explaining complex legal matters.
9. Participate in business development activities to expand client base and enhance firm reputation.
10. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney, preferably in plaintiffs employment litigation
4. Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently - caseload is approx. 30 cases.
5. Extensive experience conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes.
7. Strong legal research and analytical skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
11. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
12. Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and promoting client satisfaction.
