  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to prepare for trial, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial strategy.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve matters efficiently and favorably.
  • Maintain current knowledge of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect clients or the practice of insurance defense litigation.
  • Provide exceptional client service by maintaining regular client communication and meeting all client deadlines.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings, to develop and maintain client relationships.

Job Details

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • At least 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Exceptional litigation skills, with experience in all stages of the litigation process.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to interact with clients, judges, and opposing counsel professionally and courteously.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of favorable settlements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
