We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
2. Presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
3. Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses during the course of a trial.
4. Studying and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries.
6. Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
7. Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
8. Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
9. Gathering evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
10. Counseling clients about their legal rights and obligations, and suggest courses of action in business and personal matters.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position, you must possess the following:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member of the Bar in good standing and authorized to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on personal injury law.
4. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
7. Unwavering ethical standards and professional integrity.
8. Proficiency in legal research, including use of LexisNexis and Westlaw, or equivalent research tools.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
