Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters related to medical malpractice, general liability, and professional liability.
2. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and management.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
4. Representing the company in court proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
5. Collaborating with our legal team and other departments to develop effective defense strategies.
Qualifications:
1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, specifically in medical malpractice, general liability, and professional liability.
4. Proven experience in managing complex cases from inception to conclusion.
5. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
