As a Litigation Defense Attorney, you will be plunging into a dynamic and stimulating role that will challenge and reward you. Your primary focus will be to defend our clients in complex litigation matters, primarily concerning general liability. You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability and a proven track record of successful defense litigation.

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage a comprehensive caseload of general liability cases, including the preparation and execution of all aspects of litigation from inception to trial.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against the opposition.
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuring a thorough understanding of each case.
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, contracts, and depositions.
- Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes in favor of the client.
- Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Provide legal advice to clients, explaining the legal process, and advising on the best course of action.
- Maintain client relationships, keeping them informed and involved in their cases.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with changes and advancements in the law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability defense litigation.
- Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with legal research software.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Results-oriented and client-focused.
