We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join our high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented and possesses a deep understanding of the legal industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience and will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, including coordinating meetings, assisting with document preparation, hearing and trial preparation, and insurance defense litigation.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, and depositions.
2. Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and trial materials.
3. Manage case files from inception through resolution, ensuring all relevant documents and information are properly filed and updated.
4. Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnesses, as necessary.
5. Assist with attorney time entry, billing, and the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
6. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness preparation, trial logistics, and other necessary tasks.
7. Provide support in insurance defense litigation, including gathering case information and maintaining communication with clients.
8. Maintain an organized and efficient document management system and ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, preferably in litigation.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and legal research software.
3. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
5. Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting.
6. Experience in insurance defense litigation is preferred.
7. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
