Our established Florida law firm is seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our litigation team in St. Petersburg.

Position Overview
Join our dynamic legal team supporting IP and commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with transcription is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transcribe legal proceedings, depositions, and client meetings
  • Support attorneys in IP and commercial litigation matters from initial filing through resolution
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, pleadings, and court filings
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and government entities
  • Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court scheduling
  • Assist with document discovery and case file organization
  • Handle administrative tasks including client communications and file maintenance
  • Support trial preparation and deposition logistics
  • Maintain accurate records in document management systems
  • Process invoices and assist with billing procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial litigation legal assistant experience
  • Transcription skills required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional demeanor for client and court interactions
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills
