They are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join the team!

We are seeking an experienced litigation Legal Assistant to assist multiple attorneys with all aspects of file and case management.

Responsibilities:
- Formatting briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Filing legal documents (electronic and paper) in Federal, State, and Appellate Courts
- Corresponding with clients
- Maintaining attorney calendars
- Monitoring case docket
- Maintaining active case files and closing inactive cases
- Assist in preparing for trial
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm, supporting multiple attorneys
- Familiarity with common litigation documents, including complaints, answers, notices of appearance, motions, miscellaneous notices, and orders
- Knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP), Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure (FRAP), and state court rules
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must possess strong writing and analytical skills to independently review documents.
