We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Litigation Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing legal team. This role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities and requires a candidate with a strong background in litigation support, billing, calendar management, business intake, e-filing, and legal document preparation. The ideal candidate will be adept at using software such as Litera, Nuance, MS Office, and Outlook, and will be skilled in legal research, legal compliance, if you have affordable housing, and healthcare litigation is a plus.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support, including preparing and filing court documents, managing case files, and coordinating e-filing.
- Handle billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for legal services.
- Manage attorneys' calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
- Assist with business intake, processing new clients and cases in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, using Litera and Nuance to redline/blackline as necessary.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Ensure all activities adhere to legal compliance standards, and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Specialize in affordable housing and healthcare litigation, providing expert assistance in these areas.
- Collaborate with the legal team and contribute to team meetings and case reviews.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with a strong emphasis on litigation.
- Proficient in billing processes and software, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent calendar management skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with business intake and e-filing procedures.
- Proficient in preparing and editing legal documents, with experience using Litera and Nuance for redlining/blacklining.
- Strong legal research skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
- Knowledgeable in legal compliance standards and practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in affordable housing and healthcare litigation.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
