We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Permanent Litigation Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced legal team. This position requires a dedicated professional who can efficiently manage a variety of tasks in a high-pressure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our litigation team with a range of legal tasks, including but not limited to, processing invoices, ordering supplies, and maintaining case files. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Legal Assistant, your key duties will include:

1. Assisting attorneys with all aspects of litigation including discovery, court filings, and trial preparation.
2. Processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.
3. Ordering, tracking, and managing office supplies and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
4. Drafting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
5. Conducting legal research and assisting in the preparation of legal briefs and arguments.
6. Coordinating and scheduling meetings, hearings, and depositions.
7. Handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining client privacy.
8. Ensuring all legal documentation is correctly filed and updated in a timely manner.
9. Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a litigation team.
2. Proficiency in processing invoices and managing office supplies.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, court system, and procedures.
5. Proficiency in legal research and ability to draft legal documents.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
7. Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
9. Paralegal certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
