Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic and fast-paced litigation team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with substantial experience managing high-volume, document-intensive commercial litigation matters, including complex e-discovery workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys in all phases of complex commercial litigation from pre-suit through trial, arbitration, and post-trial proceedings
Coordinate and manage large-scale document productions, including handling all stages of e-discovery (collection, review, and production)
Utilize litigation support tools to organize and manage case files, review platforms, and discovery databases (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, TextMap)
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
Prepare chronologies, exhibits, privilege logs, and deposition summaries
Assist with court filings in both state and federal courts, including e-filing and docket tracking
Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and court personnel to ensure seamless case management
Support attorneys in trial preparation, including coordinating logistics and preparing trial binders and exhibits
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial litigation and e-discovery
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with legal technologies and case management tools (Relativity, iManage, NetDocuments, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail
Familiarity with both Connecticut state and federal court procedures
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
