A bit about us:

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their firm in Forsyth County. This opportunity is with an established mid-sized firm that specializes in representing government entities across the state of Georgia in general civil litigation, real estate law, complex government contracts, land use & zoning, and employment law.

The incoming paralegal will provide support to 2 partners for a wide range of litigation matters involving real estate litigation, business litigation, land use & zoning, condemnations, and government law. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who values teamwork, high quality work product, organizational culture, and professional development. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing. Candidates with previous eminent domain/condemnation, real estate, or real property litigation experience are encouraged to apply. As long as you have a Paralegal Certificate and a desire to learn, all litigation backgrounds will be considered.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, firm-paid medical benefits, some remote work flexibility (2 days per week after initial hiring period), overtime eligible pay, annual bonuses, and a profit sharing 401k program in a great office environment. Job Details

The incoming paralegal will have a dynamic role providing valuable support to 2 litigation partners. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Case Management: Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys for real estate, condemnation, eminent domain, and other general
civil litigation matters.
  • Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas.
  • E-filing
  • Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients.
  • Conduct legal research on real estate laws, zoning regulations, property disputes, and other relevant issues.
  • Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.
  • Assist with special projects as needed
