Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting attorneys in the preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
2. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
3. Managing electronic filing systems and records for effective case management.
4. Conducting legal research and fact-checking to support case preparation.
5. Utilizing legal case management software to track deadlines and critical dates.
6. Reviewing and organizing documents for discovery and trial purposes.
7. Ensuring legal compliance in all activities and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to personal injury cases.
8. Communicating effectively with clients, witnesses, expert consultants, and opposing counsel.
9. Preparing and managing exhibits for use at trial.
10. Writing clear, concise, and legally sound reports, correspondence, and other documents.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Paralegal position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury litigation.
2. A Paralegal certificate or a degree in law or a related field.
3. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and preparing for trials.
4. Extensive experience with electronic filing systems and legal document preparation.
5. Strong working knowledge of the discovery process and document review.
6. Experience with legal case management software, particularly iManage.
7. Demonstrated understanding of legal compliance requirements.
8. Excellent legal writing skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
9. A track record of successfully managing personal injury cases.
10. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
11. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
12. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing superior client service.
