Are you a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with a passion for the legal industry? We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation. This position is 100% remote and open to candidates located in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, from inception through discovery and trial.
2. Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing reports to assist attorneys in case preparation.
3. Managing and organizing large volumes of documents, including medical records, discovery documents, and other case-related files.
4. Coordinating and managing timelines for court filings and case events.
5. Assisting with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and document review.
6. Communicating effectively with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation.
2. A degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies from an accredited institution.
3. Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
4. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficiency in the use of legal research tools and litigation support software.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
8. Must be a resident of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, or Colorado.
