We are a boutique insurance defense firm which represents Fortune 500 clients as well as insured small businesses and individuals in personal injury claims. We are a mid-sized woman owned law firm in Torrance. Our 15 attorney firm is committed to diversity in our workforce, which helps us understand the intricacies associated with each case that comes through our doors. We are strong believers that our clients, the parties in a lawsuit, the judges overseeing a lawsuit, as well as the jurors rendering verdicts in our trials come from a variety of cultures and all walks of life, and so should we.

Job Requirements:
· 2+ years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
· Experienced with Microsoft Word related to legal documents, a must
· Detail-oriented team player that always follows through, a must
· Previous experience entering billable time, preferred
· Candidates with a history of long employment tenure, preferred

Job Description:
· Support a fast-paced civil litigation defense practice and a team of trial attorneys
· Work with Microsoft Outlook in email intensive environment
· Communicating with experts, court personnel, opposing counsel and others.
· Locate key documents
· Manage outside vendors for records, discovery, etc.
· Draft pleadings and discovery
· Legal research
· Investigative research
· Analyze data and prepare summary charts
· Keep track of case deadlines
· Work with electronically stored information (ESI)
· Document organization
· Summarize transcripts
· Prepare trial exhibit lists and trial notebooks
· Prepare deposition exhibit lists and deposition notebooks
· Track exhibits and other evidence during a trial
