Litigation Paralegal

The Senior Commercial Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all aspects of commercial litigation, including but not limited to case management, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and filing pleadings, managing electronic document review platforms, and trial preparation. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including conducting legal research, preparing and filing pleadings, and managing discovery.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Manage electronic document review platforms, including setting up and maintaining document databases, conducting searches, and coordinating with vendors.
• Assist with deposition preparation, including preparing deposition summaries and organizing exhibits.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials to provide support to attorneys.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda.
• Manage case files and maintain electronic case management systems.
• Assist with preparing and managing trial exhibits.
• Mentor and train junior paralegals on litigation best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting, with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document review platforms.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with trial preparation and attendance at trial is preferred.
• Ability to mentor and train junior paralegals.
