Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial. This includes staying abreast of current litigation progress and future proceedings.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide insight into complex litigation matters.
  • Manage commercial real estate cases, including leasing and asset management.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal correspondences.
  • Coordinate and manage the electronic filing of court documents and ensure all filings comply with court rules and regulations.
  • Participate in the discovery process, including collection, organization, and review of discovery documents.
  • Provide litigation support to attorneys during trial, including fact-checking and case law research.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date case file system to ensure attorneys have immediate access to necessary documents.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Proven experience in commercial real estate litigation, leasing, and asset management.
  • Exceptional legal research skills, with proficiency in using legal research tools.
  • Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
  • Proficiency in electronic filing systems and litigation support software.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work product.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
