The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the discovery process, electronic filing systems, and the ability to manage a large volume of documents. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The chosen candidate will be responsible for discovery, document management, drafting pleadings and motions, trial preparation, and case investigation. Familiarity with the Texas rules of civil procedure is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including document review, organization, and production.
- Maintain and update electronic filing systems for easy access and retrieval.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain strong client relations, ensuring all communications are timely and accurate.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, gathering all necessary information and evidence.
- Organize, interpret, and request medical records as required.
- Maintain case files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Investigate questions and conduct research to support case development.
- Summarize medical records to assist in case understanding and development.
- Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit preparation, and coordination of logistics.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, specifically in the field of medical malpractice litigation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- A paralegal certificate is a plus.
- Proven experience with the discovery process and electronic filing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in drafting legal documents, maintaining case files, and conducting case investigations.
- Ability to organize, interpret, and request medical records.
- Familiarity with Texas rules of civil procedure.
