This dynamic role offers the chance to demonstrate your expertise in the legal industry, particularly in the realm of commercial litigation. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team of legal professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality legal services. You will be involved in a broad spectrum of activities including legal research, document preparation, and the management of complex commercial litigation cases. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Paralegal, you will be expected to:

1. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and provide insightful recommendations.
2. Prepare and manage a wide array of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, affidavits, subpoenas, and legal briefs.
3. Assist in the management of all phases of litigation, from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
4. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and external legal counsel to gather and analyze information pertinent to the case.
5. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
6. Keep track of case timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
7. Attend legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, and trials.
8. Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and legal articles relevant to the industry.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in commercial litigation or labor/employment matters
2. A Bachelor's degree in law or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
3. Proficient in legal research and documentation, with a keen eye for detail.
4. Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirements.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Proficiency in the use of legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
9. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
10. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
