Job Details
My client, a thriving Plaintiffs' Personal Injury firm in Clifton, New Jersey, is looking for a skilled Paralegal to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.
Key Duties:
- Oversee case administration from initial consultation to case closure
- Liaise with clients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers
- Compile discovery documents and prepare materials for trial
- Track case progress and manage critical deadline schedules
- Draft and review legal pleadings and settlement agreements
- Conduct basic legal and investigative research
- Support attorneys during trial preparation phases
- Examine and summarize medical documentation and reports
- Act as primary client liaison for status communications
- Collect and authenticate client records and supporting materials
Requirements:
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation
- Competency in legal case management platforms (PC Law preferred)
- Thorough understanding of New Jersey procedural rules and filing requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and deadline management capabilities
- Outstanding communication abilities both written and oral
- Self-directed work style with meticulous attention to accuracy
