We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our esteemed legal team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from inception to discovery, trial, post-trial, and appeal. The ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is a must for this role. Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation including case inception, discovery, trial, post-trial, and appeal.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and factual investigation.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
4. Coordinate and manage document production and discovery process.
5. Organize and maintain case files, including electronic databases.
6. Prepare for and assist attorneys during trials, including preparing exhibits, witness preparation, and trial logistics.
7. Interact with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
8. Provide Spanish language translation and interpretation services as needed.
9. Manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.
3. Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program.
4. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is required.
5. Proficient in all phases of litigation, including case inception, discovery, trial, post-trial, and appeal.
6. Extensive experience in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
7. Strong legal research and analytical skills.
8. Proficient in the use of legal research platforms and e-discovery tools.
9. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
14. Strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
