Seeking a Practice Assistant to provide administrative support to attorneys and legal teams. Initial training requires 5 days/week onsite; hybrid schedule available thereafter.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to partners, counsel, and associates
Prepare and proofread documents with accuracy and efficiency
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
Answer phones professionally and handle correspondence
Prepare court filings, open new matters, and draft engagement letters
Maintain organized files and contact lists
Support practice development events and client relationship management
Coordinate travel, expenses, and billing processes
Cross-train to support multiple practice groups
Utilize firm applications including InterAction, Workshare, and Chrome River
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years law firm experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Notary Public certification preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Professional demeanor with all levels of personnel
