- Manage 14-20 patients per day, with a focus on medical oncology, including chemotherapy and supportive care.
- Work in a 50/50 split between hematology and oncology patients.
- Collaborate with a second MD in a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation.
- Supervise and work alongside 8 RNs, 1 NP/PA, and 4 office staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Certification
Licensing Requirements:
Must be WI licensed or eligible through IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
Support Staff:
- 8 Registered Nurses (RNs)
- 1 NP/PA
- 4 Office Staff
EMR System: Epic
Schedule Details:
- In-person coverage required (no telehealth).
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM workday, with flexible scheduling options.
- The position follows a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation, working with a second MD.
Additional Notes:
- This search is open while we continue to recruit for a permanent provider.
- 14-20 patients per day with a focus on both hematology and oncology care.
- No telehealth – in-person coverage required.
