We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Locum Pediatric Hospitalist to join our fast-paced and innovative medical team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished Pediatric Hospitalist to provide top-notch healthcare services to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pediatric medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality medical care. They will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development and implementation of new healthcare strategies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

As a Locum Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries.
  • Performing intubations and other complex medical procedures.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Consulting with patients' families to provide information and support.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Start Date: Feb 7, 2025- ongoing

Shift:
24- hour call coverage (30 min response time)

Patients per day: 1-2

Cases:
Non-invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff) required.
Intubation (ETT/NT) preferred.
UVC and UAC required
Lumbar puncture preferred
Chest tube insertion preferred
X-ray interpretation preferred
Suturing minor lacerations preferred
Circumcision preferred

Must be MI licensed or IMLC!

Certifications required:
PALS
BLS
DEA

Support Staff:
1 RN

Trauma Level 1 facility

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

EMR: Epic
