Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to diagnose and treat neurological disorders, including disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
2. Perform complex neurosurgical procedures, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technologies.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
4. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and providing guidance on recovery and rehabilitation.
5. Stay current with the latest advancements in neurosurgery and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.
6. Participate in research studies, contribute to scientific literature in the field of neurosurgery, and present findings at medical conferences.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, maintain patient confidentiality, and uphold the highest standards of medical ethics.
Qualifications:
1. Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in neurosurgery.
4. Valid and active medical license.
5. Excellent surgical skills with a proven track record of success in neurosurgical procedures.
6. Strong diagnostic abilities with a thorough understanding of neurological disorders and their treatment.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, demonstrating resilience and a commitment to patient care.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
10. Ability to participate in research and contribute to the advancement of neurosurgery.
