We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to join our expanding team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the implementation of low voltage systems in various construction projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data cabling, security systems, alarm systems, and project management. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of low voltage projects from the initial stages to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
3. Coordinate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
4. Manage and solve technical problems related to low voltage systems such as data cabling, security systems, and alarm systems.
5. Conduct risk assessments for projects and implement risk mitigation strategies.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems.
7. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
8. Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically managing low voltage systems.
2. Proven experience in managing data cabling, security systems, and alarm systems projects.
3. A solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage, influence, and inspire a diverse team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for making complex concepts easy to understand.
6. Proficient in using project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
7. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
