Job Details

We are seeking a highly-skilled, dedicated, and passionate Low Voltage Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a comprehensive understanding of low voltage systems including video surveillance, CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control, intrusion detection, nurse call, and/or medical alert systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of a wide variety of low voltage systems. Responsibilities:

1. Install, service, and troubleshoot a wide variety of low voltage systems including video surveillance, CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control, intrusion detection, nurse call, and medical alert systems.
2. Perform regular maintenance on low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
3. Conduct thorough inspections of low voltage systems and provide detailed reports on their condition and functionality.
4. Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide them with appropriate solutions.
6. Stay updated on the latest advancements in low voltage technology and incorporate this knowledge into your work.
7. Train and mentor junior technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Service Technician or in a similar role.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with video surveillance, CCTV, fire alarm systems, access control, intrusion detection, nurse call, and/or medical alert systems.
3. Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites is required
8. Must be able to work weekends, evenings, split-shifts, on-call, and rotating shifts (if needed).
