Job Details
Position Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
Licensed by the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
One (1) year of previous experience in a withdrawal management or other substance use treatment setting is preferred.
Background in a residential substance use treatment program, detoxification center, or opioid treatment program is preferred.
Training in the assessment and clinical disposition of patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms from substance use is required for work in the withdrawal management program.
Job Purpose:
Under the supervision and oversight of the supervising RN/APRN, the incumbent assists in monitoring patients' psychiatric and medical needs. This includes responsibilities such as medication administration, milieu management, patient education, and other necessary procedures.
