A bit about us:

We are a nonprofit organization that provides support for individuals in recovery from substance misuse & mental health related issues. We provide structured, shame-free treatment in supervised living spaces, to help clients pursue recovery and self-sufficiency. We provide individual & group therapy including IOP, PHP & EMDR. We also provide support for those coming to us from homelessness or those on probation or parole.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments, documenting relevant medical history, vital signs, and current symptoms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation, medication logs, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing any changes or potential complications, and promptly report observations to the supervising healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures, promoting self-care and empowerment.
  • Administer and coordinate medical procedures, such as wound care, injections, and IV therapy, following established protocols and infection control measures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and questions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Stay updated on medical advancements, healthcare regulations, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.

Job Details

  • Valid and active LPN license in the state of Colorado.
  • Successful completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills, including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical and compassionate patient care.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
