- Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments, documenting relevant medical history, vital signs, and current symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation, medication logs, and treatment plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing any changes or potential complications, and promptly report observations to the supervising healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures, promoting self-care and empowerment.
- Administer and coordinate medical procedures, such as wound care, injections, and IV therapy, following established protocols and infection control measures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and questions with empathy and professionalism.
- Stay updated on medical advancements, healthcare regulations, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.

Job Details
- Valid and active LPN license in the state of Colorado.
- Successful completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient computer skills, including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and compassionate patient care.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
